2011-03-16 11:08
ANA-U supplies biologically degradable student cards using regenerating raw materials for the cards.
The first cards were shipped to the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna in spring 2011.
Student cards are typically made from PVC. The basic material vinyl chloride is carcinogenic. On burning, hydrochloric acid can develop and high-poisonous dioxin. Furthermore PVC often contains heavy metals to stabilization. Environmental protection organizations recommend from there the exit from PVC. GREEN QUALITY CARDS has the goal to replace PVC cards with bio plastic cards made from biologically degradable material
In addition ANA-U offer devices to print on these cards. The combination of biologically degradable cards with rewritable cards permits an optimal sustainability.
The cards look and feel like "normal" PCV cards and all chip card types are available.
